These are examples of how you can use VolFe to explore natural data or model different systems.

• Example 5a: Example for a melt inclusion and submarine pillow glass dataset from the Marianas arc (Brounce et al., 2014; Kelley and Cottrell, 2012; Cottrell et al., 2021) from Hughes et al. (2025). Includes calculations of P ^v _sat, f _O2 from melt sulfur content, closed- and open-system re- and degassing paths, isobars, and Monte Carlo error propagation of analytical uncertainties.
